Madrid – The capital of Spain

Tourists can also take a whole day tour from Madrid to the city of Toledo. Toledo is noted for its architectural heritage. There are many architectural structures which encompass a meshing of Moslem and Christian faith. Toledo is also considered the city of the three cultures, namely, Christian, Moslem and Jewish. The Toledo Cathedral took almost three centuries to build and shows considerable Spanish culture.

Segovia is just close to Madrid and here one can see the roman aqueducts, all 800 meters long. Nearby are the Gothic Cathedral and the Alcazar, which were built during Caesar Augustus' regime.
